What this policy covers
This policy describes the public Uxbridge website and its optional interactive map. Cookies are small pieces of information stored by a browser; similar technologies can include browser storage. The website must be checked again when plugins, hosting, security settings or embeds change.
Public pages and analytics
The inspected public page templates serve their styles, scripts, photographs and fonts from this website. No analytics tag, advertising pixel or marketing integration is configured. The website does not use a public enquiry form, shopping basket or customer login. It does not save a visitor’s answers when an informational checklist is opened. An audit of anonymous HTTP responses found no Set-Cookie header from the public pages; this is distinct from cookies already present in a browser profile.
WordPress administration
Authorised WordPress sign-in and administration are separate from ordinary public browsing. WordPress can use authentication and test cookies for that restricted workflow. Those are not a reason to describe every public visitor as logged in or to claim that advertising cookies are necessary. No public registration facility is offered here.
The optional area map
The OpenStreetMap iframe is absent until you select Load interactive map. Before loading, the placeholder explains that the connection is to an external provider. Selecting the button loads the map resources, allowing the provider to receive technical connection information. The map is an area guide without a business marker. The iframe uses lazy loading and a no-referrer policy. Consult the OpenStreetMap Foundation privacy policy for the external service’s handling of information; this site does not claim to control that provider’s storage.
Your choice and withdrawing it
Leave the map unloaded if you do not want that external connection. After loading, use Close map beneath it to remove the iframe and return to the placeholder. This stops the active embedded view; it cannot erase information already sent to the provider or clear storage held on another origin. Loading is not remembered as a site-wide preference, so a later page visit starts with the placeholder again. The site does not use an Accept all banner or treat scrolling as permission to load the map.
Browser controls
Your browser can show and remove stored website data and can block cookies or external content. Controls vary by browser. Removing stored data can sign you out of an administration session if you have one. Settings at this site cannot clear another provider’s data; manage those through your browser or the relevant provider. Essential page information and the telephone links remain available without loading the map.
