WEBSITE INFORMATION / UPDATED 28 OCTOBER 2026
Terms & Conditions
Legal review outstanding: the legal supplier’s name, address and confirmed booking, payment, cancellation and complaints procedures still need to be supplied. Obtain the full supplier and contractual information before agreeing to work.
Scope of these terms
These terms explain use of the Uxbridge website and the matters that require agreement before a pest control service is booked. The website has no online booking or payment facility. The legal supplier’s identity, address and complete service terms must be verified before launch. A telephone link or information page does not itself create a confirmed appointment.
Website information and enquiries
Descriptions explain inspection questions, possible treatment considerations and preparation topics. They do not diagnose your property or prescribe a product. An enquiry should describe the signs accurately, including uncertainty, previous treatment and access limitations. Availability must be checked directly; the website does not promise continuous telephone cover, an immediate response or a particular appointment time.
Agreeing a booking
Before a booking becomes binding, obtain the supplier’s identity and contact address, the service description, appointment arrangements, total price or calculation method, payment terms and cancellation information in a format you can keep. Explain who is authorised to commission work and provide access. Any proposed changes to scope, including additional rooms or repairs, should be discussed and agreed rather than assumed to be included.
Prices and quotations
Any price guide elsewhere on the website is general information and must not replace a property-specific quotation. The affected areas, pest identification, access, method, equipment, monitoring and repairs can affect the work proposed. Confirm the total including applicable taxes and charges, exclusions and the number and purpose of visits. No new fixed tariff, discount entitlement or automatic surcharge is established by these terms.
Payments
The accepted payment methods, payment timing, any deposit and the conditions applying to that deposit must be supplied before agreement. This website has no checkout and does not request payment-card details. Do not assume a particular payment method, credit arrangement or refund process from an illustrative price. The operator must confirm its actual payment procedures before this page is used for live bookings.
Cancellations and changes
Ask for the applicable cancellation and rescheduling procedure before booking. Consumer rights may apply to contracts agreed by telephone or away from business premises. The required information, any right to cancel and any request to begin work during a cancellation period must be handled according to the circumstances and applicable law. Describing a pest problem as urgent does not automatically remove statutory rights. No cancellation fee, deposit forfeiture or blanket exception is established by these website terms. See GOV.UK guidance on distance selling for the information a supplier must provide.
Access and preparation
Provide safe, authorised access to the agreed areas and explain locked rooms, communal spaces, fragile fittings and other restrictions. Moving heavy appliances, dismantling fixed units, opening walls or accessing unsafe lofts should not be assumed to form part of an ordinary inspection. Follow the preparation instructions supplied for the proposed work. Report children, pets and relevant practical precautions without disclosing unnecessary personal information.
Treatment and instructions
The method should reflect identification, findings and the property. Where a product or device is proposed, ask about its purpose, location, precautions and aftercare. Do not move equipment or combine treatment with another product independently. Re-entry, cleaning and ventilation instructions depend on the actual method and must come from the agreed treatment information. No universal treatment outcome or fixed clearance time is promised.
Follow-up, repairs and results
Confirm whether monitoring, equipment removal, repeat visits or proofing are included. A review may be needed to assess fresh evidence, inaccessible routes or preparation. Activity can be influenced by surrounding properties, repairs and movement of belongings. These considerations should be explained without replacing the supplier’s duty to perform the agreed work properly. Extra work and its price require agreement.
Concerns, responsibility and statutory rights
If you are concerned about work, retain the quotation and visit instructions and contact the supplier promptly with the relevant details. The actual complaints contact and process must be completed before live operation. Nothing on this page is intended to exclude non-excludable liability or reduce applicable consumer rights. No unverified financial liability cap, guarantee period or mandatory dispute scheme is imposed.
